On the occasion of the beginning of the New Year of At Ty 2025, on the morning of February 5, General Secretary To Lam and the Central Working Delegation visited and offered incense to commemorate the Hung Kings at the Hung Temple National Historical Relic Site (Viet Tri city, Phu Tho province).
Also attending were Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries: Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission Le Minh Hung, Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc; comrades: General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Minister of Public Security; Le Hoai Trung, Party Central Committee Secretary, Chief of the Party Central Committee Office; Le Thanh Long, Party Central Committee member, Deputy Prime Minister; leaders of the Party Central Committee Office, the General Secretary's Office, leaders of a number of central ministries, departments, branches and Phu Tho province.
In a solemn atmosphere, at Kinh Thien Palace, on the sacred Nghia Linh mountain, General Secretary To Lam and delegates offered incense, expressed their respect and gratitude to their ancestors, demonstrating the Vietnamese people's morality of "When drinking water, remember its source"; praying for their ancestors to bless them with favorable weather; for the people to have a peaceful and happy life; and for the country to be peaceful, prosperous, and powerful.
Before the ancestors' spirit, the Delegation vows to continue the tradition of "descendants of the dragon and fairy" to constantly study, vows to strive to improve intelligence and working capacity, to undertake the important responsibilities assigned by the Party, State and people; unite to successfully direct the implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; successfully direct the Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; build a country with a restored and developed economy; social order and discipline; national sovereignty is maintained; soon complete the arrangement of a streamlined apparatus, operate effectively and efficiently, creating a foundation to bring the country into a new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
*Next, General Secretary To Lam and the delegation offered flowers in memory of President Ho Chi Minh at the bas-relief of Uncle Ho talking to officers and soldiers of the Vanguard Army Corps at the Den Gieng Five-Way Intersection, at the foot of Nghia Linh Mountain.
After the Dien Bien Phu Victory, on September 19, 1954, President Ho Chi Minh - the beloved leader of the Vietnamese people visited Hung Temple and burned incense to pay tribute to their ancestors. At the Gieng Temple at the foot of Nghia Linh Mountain, Uncle Ho met and talked with officers and soldiers of the Vanguard Army Corps to assign the task of taking over the capital Hanoi. He advised: "The Hung Kings had the merit of building the country, you and I must work together to protect the country". Uncle Ho's teachings have become a guiding principle, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity, unity and determination of generations of Vietnamese descendants in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
*On the occasion of the New Year of At Ty 2025, General Secretary To Lam and the working delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Tho province.
After listening to a report on some highlights of the socio-economic development situation in 2024, General Secretary To Lam acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Tho province in carrying out the tasks in 2024, especially in promptly overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3, restoring production and business activities, and stabilizing people's lives.
The General Secretary believes that in 2025, the Party Committee, government and people of Phu Tho province will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and unity, strive to successfully complete the tasks of 2025 and the entire term, maintain and continue to promote double-digit growth continuously in the coming years.
The General Secretary emphasized that 2025 is the last year to implement the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Phu Tho province needs to continue to effectively mobilize resources, remove bottlenecks, promote socio-economic development, improve people's lives, and create consensus in implementing local political tasks. The province needs to do well in developing transport infrastructure, ensuring convenient connections with other provinces in the region, promoting strong socio-economic development; contributing to creating momentum for development of the whole region. The General Secretary suggested that the province needs to continue to prepare and organize well the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Party Congress.
