Ba Ria - Vung Tau province grants funding to support social security projects in the province

On the morning of March 22, the working delegation of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province led by comrade Bui Chi Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, presented funds to support social security projects in the province. The delegation was welcomed by comrade Vu Khac Quang, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

The working delegation of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province presented a symbolic plaque to support funding for the construction of social security projects in the province.

At the presentation ceremony, the leader of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said: Storm No. 3 occurred in September 2024, causing serious impacts in some northern provinces. Together with localities across the country, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province launched a support movement to all levels and sectors in the province. With the joint efforts of units, individuals and enterprises, the province has supported over 51 billion VND to damaged localities, of which 1 billion VND was supported to Cao Bang province. Up to now, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province continues to support over 5 billion VND to Cao Bang province to build social security works and overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3.

The leader of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee expressed his gratitude for the sympathy and sharing of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province with the people of Cao Bang province affected by storm No. 3.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Vu Khac Quang thanked Ba Ria - Vung Tau province for its sympathy and sharing with the people of Cao Bang province affected by storm No. 3. He said that with the cooperation and support of units across the country, the work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters in the province has been promptly implemented, and people's lives have now basically stabilized.

With this support, the province will be able to use it to build and upgrade infrastructure, build rural roads, and implement social security programs to ensure proper purposes and effectiveness. Hopefully, in the coming time, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province will continue to pay attention and prioritize support for Cao Bang province, sharing with the people in difficulty in the province; the two provinces will continue to have coordination activities, exchanges, and cooperation in many fields to further strengthen solidarity and promote mutual development.
