Xuan Son is the most loved in Vietnam Sports Glory

At the program "Glory of Vietnamese Sports 2025", the Organizing Committee honored 10 athletes, 5 coaches, 3 sports teams, 5 disabled athletes and 3 outstanding disabled sports coaches for their outstanding achievements in 2024.

The 10 faces on the list include: Trinh Thu Vinh (shooting), Tran Quyet Chien (billiards), Nguyen Thi Bich Tuyen (volleyball), Nguyen Thi Huong (canoeing), Pham Thi Hue (rowing), Nguyen Thuy Linh (badminton), Nguyen Thi That (cycling), Ha Thi Linh (boxing), Tran Thi Nhi Yen (athletics), Do Thi Anh Nguyet (archery). The 5 coaches on the list of outstanding national coaches in 2024 include: Nguyen Tuan Kiet (volleyball), Nguyen Viet Hoa (billiards), Nguyen Dinh Hoang (women's futsal), Luu Van Hoan (canoeing), Tran Quoc Cuong (shooting). At the program, disabled weightlifter Le Van Cong and disabled weightlifting coach Le Quang Thai were honored to receive the Third Class Labor Medal from the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

In addition, tennis player Nguyen Thuy Linh became the most popular athlete on TikTok. The Most Popular Sports Team title on TikTok was awarded to the Vietnamese women's volleyball team and the Most Popular Football Player title went to striker Nguyen Xuan Son.
