Cao Bang has eliminated nearly 12,000 temporary and dilapidated houses.

According to the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses (SC) of Cao Bang province, in the period of 2021 - 2024, 11,880 houses in the whole Cao Bang province have been supported, with a total cost of more than 513 billion VND.

In 2024 alone, the total number of supported houses is 6,831, with a budget of more than 240 billion VND. Since the beginning of 2025, the whole province has had 1,448 completed houses (1,074 newly built houses, 374 repaired houses, 889 houses under construction), disbursing 4.7 billion VND.

Cao Bang province aims to support the removal of 7,085 dilapidated houses in 2025, with a total estimated cost of more than VND371 billion.

On March 20, on behalf of the Cao Bang Provincial Steering Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trieu Dinh Le directed the strengthening of inspection and review of the current situation and progress of support for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses with the common goal of completing in 2025; stepping up propaganda and mobilization work, directing districts and communes to implement the program in substance, increase feasibility and complete the set goals.

Mr. Trieu Dinh Le requested members of the Steering Committee and agencies responsible for eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses to resolve difficulties and obstacles and propose solutions to effectively implement support work from the grassroots level.
