2 female bodies found in river, suspected of jumping off bridge

The bodies of two young women on the Dinh River, passing through Ninh Phuoc district (Ninh Thuan province), were found by police and water special forces this morning.

This morning (March 23), two victims were found by the working group of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (Ninh Thuan Provincial Police) and the water special forces on the Dinh River, through Phuoc Thuan Commune, Ninh Phuoc District.

The two girls, 13 and 16 years old, are from Phuoc Thuan commune. Last night, many people discovered the two victims on Dao Long bridge, the section across National Highway 1. Later, people only saw two pairs of sandals on the bridge so they reported it to the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Police Department and Rescue Department coordinated with the water special forces to search through the night.

Currently, the authorities are completing the procedures to hand over the body to the family for funeral arrangements.

More than 20 diving commandos search for tourist who fell into the sea while taking photos . Many forces and water commandos were mobilized to search for a 25-year-old man who slipped and fell into the sea and was swept away by waves and went missing in Ninh Thuan.
