Completion and putting into use the sidewalk renovation project of Thang Long street

On the morning of March 24, the city held a ceremony to announce the completion and handover of the Thang Long Street Sidewalk Renovation project, from Asia Park to the border of Cam Le District. Attending the ceremony were Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh, Chairman of the City People's Council Ngo Xuan Thang, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Van Trung and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi


Da Nang completed and put into use the sidewalk renovation project on Thang Long Street.

The Thang Long Street Sidewalk Improvement Project, from Asia Park to the border of Cam Le District, has a total investment of more than 44 billion VND; construction started in May 2024. The main items of the project include landscape architecture; water supply and drainage; traffic and traffic organization; lighting and landscape decoration; sidewalk width from 15 to nearly 22m. The project is designed to be modern and user-friendly, to meet the increasing travel needs of residents and tourists.

According to Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, with this renovation, the sidewalk of Thang Long Street will become a safe, clean and beautiful space, encouraging people to walk, contributing to building a civilized and modern Da Nang city. The city government will continue to make efforts to improve the infrastructure, increasingly better meeting the needs of the people and the requirements of the city's socio-economic development in the coming time./.
