On the afternoon of March 13, U22 Vietnam played the first friendly match in preparation for the CFA Team China 2025 tournament. With the nature of professional testing and creating conditions for players to compete, the coaching staff chose U19 PVF as the "blue team" for U22 Vietnam.
Acting head coach Dinh Hong Vinh used the official lineup with many players who have experience playing at the SEA Games, V.League and the National First Division. Viktor Le was placed in the starting lineup from the beginning, along with a number of other players such as Nguyen Thanh Nhan and Dinh Xuan Tien.

Meanwhile, Andrej Nguyen An Khanh sat on the bench. Mr. Dinh Hong Vinh did not want to "force" his student to compete immediately because he had just returned to Vietnam for 1 day and was not used to the time zone. This coach even refused An Khanh's request to go to the gym on the morning of March 12.
In the first half, U22 Vietnam began to get used to the tactical scheme built by the coaching staff. Overall, the players were a bit tired after days of hard training. However, U22 Vietnam soon scored the opening goal of the match thanks to striker Nguyen Thanh Nhan - the star of PVF-CAND.
In the remaining time, U19 PVF played well but could not find an equalizer. Their main striker Nguyen Le Phat is being called up to U22 Vietnam.
In the second half, coach Dinh Hong Vinh made many personnel adjustments. At this time, Andrej Nguyen An Khanh was put on the field and had time to prove his ability.
Trained in Europe, An Khanh soon showed a different way of thinking about football. He quickly left an impression thanks to his skillful technique and good tactical vision.
However, the team's lineup change caused U22 Vietnam to concede a goal. They ended the match with a 1-1 draw, and the U22 Vietnam coaching staff received many important assessments about the players' performance and level.
