According to preliminary estimates, there are about 40,000 golf courses in the world . However, perhaps nowhere has such special regulations as La Jenny, located about 60 km west of Bordeaux (France). This is the only nude golf course in the world and has received many positive reviews from visitors thanks to its unique experience, allowing players to enjoy the feeling of freedom when competing without clothes.
A Tripadvisor review reads: "The golf course (6 holes) is a truly stunning venue. It is strictly nudist and we enjoyed playing the course naked and barefoot, although it did not improve our game! It was still winter when we visited, but it was still fun to play. We also enjoyed a drink on the clubhouse terrace afterwards."

Another player also praised the experience at La Jenny as “unique and wonderful.” Many visitors emphasized the freedom of playing golf in this environment, while also appreciating amenities such as free parking.
While a standard golf course usually has 18 holes, La Jenny only has six. Packages here start at just 3 euros (about 83,000 VND) for a practice session at the driving range. Golf course fees are 32 euros (888,000 VND) per day and increase to 94 euros (2.6 million VND) during the peak summer season.
Beginners can take a free golf lesson or sign up for a five-hour course for €250. For those who want to play a traditional 18-hole course in the nude, La Jenny offers the experience for €132.
La Jenny is not only a golf course but also a nudist resort, offering a variety of facilities such as a bar, restaurant, laundromat and mini-mart. Guests can also buy fresh food from the on-site butcher and seafood shop.

In France, nudism has been popular since the 1920s, with around 150 clubs dedicated to this school. At La Jenny, nudism is “mandatory” if the weather permits. The facilities here are considered ideal for “connoisseurs of pleasure, who know how to combine friendliness and professionalism”.
However, visitors can’t just show up, strip down, hop in a golf cart and play a round, as the course is only open to those staying at the adjacent resort, which will be open from the last weekend of March to the last weekend of September 2025.
A 5-star review of the resort from 2023 reads: “The perfect 100% nudist resort. Forest, sea, full facilities and no clothes required anywhere, anytime. Quite secluded, but everything you need is there, including shops, restaurants, bars and the world’s only nudist golf course!”
