(Dan Tri) - U22 Korea will enter the match against U22 Vietnam in a friendly tournament in China without a head coach.
Recently, U22 Korea announced the list of 26 players to prepare for a friendly tournament in China with opponents U22 China, U22 Vietnam and U22 Uzbekistan. This is considered a tournament for the teams to practice before the U23 Asian qualifiers in September.

According to the list, all 26 players of the U22 Korea team play domestically. They did not call up young star Yang Min Hyuk of Tottenham. Among them, there are 7 players who played in the U20 World Cup: Moon Hyun Ho, Choi Seok Hyeon, Choi Ye Hoon, Hwang In Taek, Park Chang Woo, Kang Sang Yoon, Lee Seung Won.
It is worth mentioning that U22 Korea participated in this tournament without a head coach. Because the Korean Football Association (KFA) has not yet found a head coach for the team, three assistants Lee Chang Hyun, Jo Se Kwon, Kim Dae Hwan will lead the team together.
In addition, the U22 Korean team did not have much time to prepare for this tournament. They will play the opening match against U22 Vietnam on March 20, but the whole team will not gather until March 17. After that, they immediately flew to China and only had one training session before entering the match against U22 Vietnam.
As for U22 Vietnam, coach Kim Sang Sik will not directly lead the team in the friendly tournament in China because he is busy working with the national team. Instead, coach Dinh Hong Vinh will temporarily lead the team.

U22 Vietnam is very determined in the upcoming friendly tournament. This is a stepping stone for the team to conquer two big goals in 2025: the U23 Asian qualifiers and the 33rd SEA Games.
According to the plan, U22 Vietnam will maintain training with a frequency of 1 to 2 sessions per day. On March 17, the whole team will move to Jiangsu (China) to participate in a friendly tournament from March 20 to March 25.
According to the schedule, U22 Vietnam will play the opening match of the friendly tournament in Jiangsu with U22 Korea at 2:30 p.m. on March 20.
