Training and improving monitoring capacity for officers implementing Program 1719

In September and October 2024, the Provincial Ethnic Committee coordinated with the Coordination Office of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority Areas (Program 1719) to organize training, fostering, and improving the capacity to monitor and evaluate program implementation for officials at all levels of Sub-Project 3, Project 10 of the Program and deploy Resolutions of the National Assembly, Decisions, Decrees of the Government, Circulars, and new guiding documents in implementing the Program.

The leaders of the Provincial Ethnic Committee conveyed some contents of the Program.

Attending the training course were officials and civil servants assigned tasks from relevant provincial departments and branches; leaders of specialized departments and civil servants of the Ethnic Affairs Department under the People's Committees of Tan Son, Thanh Son, Yen Lap, Thanh Thuy, Doan Hung districts; leaders, officials and civil servants assigned tasks from the People's Committees of communes benefiting from the Program.

Trainees listened to the reporters introduce and guide on the Inspection and Supervision Process according to Circular No. 01/2022/TT-UBDT dated May 26, 2022 of the Ethnic Committee, Plan No. 5144/KH-UBND dated December 21, 2022 of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province on organizing the supervision and evaluation of the implementation of the National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas for the period 2021 - 2030; Phase I: From 2021 to 2025 in Phu Tho province. Implementing Resolutions of the National Assembly, Decisions, Decrees of the Government, Circulars, new guiding documents in implementing the Program.

In each training topic, the reporters had discussions and instructions on basic, specific, and specific skills that are suitable for the actual situation in the unit and locality. At the same time, they directly discussed and discussed difficulties and problems in practice when deploying and implementing, and together proposed solutions to remove and resolve each problem to promptly detect difficulties and problems, propose solutions to remove or report, recommend competent authorities to consider and guide, resolve to ensure the Program is implemented according to the right goals, on schedule, and with quality.
