In recent times, Lam Dong Museum has made many innovations in museum work: Exhibition of flowers and wooden statues of the Central Highlands, photo exhibition combined with Ao Dai performance, coordinating with Ninh Thuan Museum to open the exhibition of Cham Cultural Days in Lam Dong... to bring the cultural values of the nation to the public. In addition, other museum activities are still maintained: regular exhibitions (permanent exhibitions), thematic exhibitions, outdoor exhibitions, periodic exhibitions, mobile exhibitions... Accordingly, in the permanent exhibition section, Lam Dong Museum is divided into 6 exhibition themes, including: exhibition of Lam Dong nature, exhibition of images and artifacts of ancient Da Lat, exhibition of Lam Dong archaeology, exhibition of cultural characteristics of the Ma - K'Ho - Churu ethnic groups in Lam Dong, exhibition of the revolutionary struggle movement of Lam Dong province and exhibition of Lam Dong people in the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland. With more than 2,000 images, documents and artifacts, Lam Dong Museum has "told" visitors an overview story about Lam Dong land and people: nature, people, life, culture, society, history... For each exhibition, Lam Dong Museum bases on the content of the theme and characteristics of each collection to come up with a suitable display form. "We can use the method of displaying according to outline, the method of displaying according to collection, or the method of displaying according to historical scenes..., after carefully studying the scientific parameters of the artifacts", said an officer of Lam Dong Museum.

According to Lam Dong Museum, the exhibitions at the unit have approached and basically solved the requirements in exhibition activities: science, art, technology. This is partly demonstrated by the number of over 100,000 visitors who came to Lam Dong Museum in 2024 to visit, learn, study, and research. However, to create an exhibition with all three elements of science, art, and technology is not simple. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thinh - a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City, shared: “The public comes to the museum not only to see and listen to the available exhibition content, but also to explore, experience, participate and be a part of museum activities. Therefore, applying modern technology to exhibition work at the museum is an urgent task. Museums can simulate artifacts using 3D printing methods so that visitors can easily access artifacts or create virtual spaces for viewers to interact with natural and historical stories... In addition, museums need to invest in technological equipment to support information for visitors such as automatic tour guide systems, touch screen information systems that provide visitors with full information about documents and artifacts on display through user interaction.

Through this, it can be seen that the exhibition work at the museum has changed a lot. It requires a lot of investment in effort, human resources, ways and methods to create vivid exhibition products, encouraging more sharing from the community in promoting heritage values.
