Implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security, on the afternoon of February 28, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Public Security on dissolving district, town and city police and the decisions of the Provincial Police Director on personnel work. Colonel Nguyen Huu Phuoc - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party Secretary, Director of the Provincial Police presided over the ceremony.

At the ceremony, authorized by the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Police announced the Decision of the Minister of Public Security on dissolving 8 district, town and city police stations under the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police from March 1, 2025, including: Nha Trang City Police, Cam Ranh City Police, Ninh Hoa Town Police and Dien Khanh, Cam Lam, Van Ninh, Khanh Vinh and Khanh Son District Police. Thus, Khanh Hoa province will end the operations of 8 district-level police stations and 63 team-level units under the district, town and city police stations. The new organizational structure of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police includes 26 department-level units, 129 commune-level police units and 3 police stations.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Police Department Board of Directors handed over decisions on rotation and transfer of 54 police leaders at the department and district levels to work at professional units of the Provincial Police (including 14 Department Heads and 40 Deputy Department Heads). At the same time, they handed over decisions on retirement from March 1, 2025 to 7 leaders. These are department-level leaders who voluntarily retired early to create favorable conditions for arranging and perfecting the new organizational apparatus.
Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Huu Phuoc emphasized that this organizational arrangement is a particularly important political task, a revolutionary order to organize the People's Public Security apparatus to be truly streamlined, strong, and operate effectively and efficiently in accordance with the Party's policies. The Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the leadership of the Provincial Public Security Department have carefully and comprehensively assessed the staff and each individual to select a suitable staff arrangement plan, ensuring that after the organizational arrangement and staff arrangement, the operations of the units in the Provincial Public Security Department will be stronger and more effective.
