According to Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Tung, Deputy Chief of Politics, Logistics Department, General Staff, agencies and units in the Logistics Department have widely promoted the importance and humanitarian significance of blood donation to save lives. Thereby, it has contributed to raising awareness among officers, employees, soldiers and workers in the unit about the fine tradition of "Love others as you love yourself" of our nation and the spirit of "A drop of blood given, a life left behind". Currently, officers and soldiers in the unit all clearly understand that blood donation is a demonstration of compassion, profound humanity, a noble gesture and the sentiment and responsibility of Uncle Ho's soldiers for the health of the community.

Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Xuan Nghia, Deputy Head of the Blood Transfusion Department, 108 Central Military Hospital, informed that thanks to good preparation and close coordination between the two units, on the morning of June 22, nearly 300 officers, employees, and soldiers from agencies and units of the Logistics Department participated in donating more than 250 units of blood. This amount of blood, after being received, will continue to be screened to ensure clean and good blood units to serve patients.

Through the blood donation session of the Logistics Department, the General Staff shows that the awareness and responsibility of officers and soldiers in the army towards public health has been increasingly raised.
