On the evening of July 10, the Department of Tourism of Quang Binh province coordinated with Regal Group Joint Stock Company and the Vietnam Culinary Culture Association to organize the opening ceremony of the international food and music festival.

The international food and music festival is part of the Legend Summer Festival - one of the events of Quang Binh Tourism Week 2024 taking place at Bao Ninh 1 Urban Area, Dong Hoi City.

The festival takes place from July 10 to 14, with a scale of about 90 booths, including 50 culinary booths of units inside and outside the province with the participation and performances of famous domestic culinary artists.

In addition, there are 40 OCOP booths and tourism promotion booths, arranged according to main spaces, such as: Food street and trade promotion, tourism promotion; community performances and folk games; workshop performances of famous artisans from the three regions of North - Central - South, bringing rich culinary experiences to the public.

At the opening ceremony, many food stalls were beautifully displayed. In addition to famous dishes in Quang Binh, the festival also had many food stalls from provinces and cities across the country, bringing unique flavors of each region. Talented chefs demonstrated their cooking skills, creating attractive dishes, attracting diners to enjoy.

Besides cuisine, music is also an indispensable highlight of the festival. The main stage is designed grandly, with the participation of famous domestic and foreign artists. The performances are diverse from pop, rock, jazz to traditional music, bringing the audience moments of sublimation and excitement.

Notably, an EDM music program and low-altitude fireworks display will take place on the evening of July 12. This event is expected to attract about 10,000-20,000 guests.

The international food and music festival aims to honor, preserve and promote the culinary cultural values of Quang Binh in particular and regional cuisine in general to the people and tourists. The festival is expected to bring unique, attractive experiences, many memorable emotions to tourists when coming to Quang Binh.

Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Ha - Deputy Director of Quang Binh Department of Tourism, said that in order to diversify tourism products and create more experiences for tourists in Quang Binh, from July 6 to 13, the Department coordinated with units to organize a series of events for Tourism Week 2024 with many exciting and attractive activities. In particular, the International Food and Music Festival is one of the highlights of the Legend Summer Festival, aiming to honor, preserve and promote the culinary cultural values of Quang Binh and other regions.
