Owing 23 billion VND in taxes, Indochina Quang Binh Resort tourism project was revoked

The People's Committee of Quang Binh province has just issued a document to revoke the land granted to the Indochina Quang Binh Resort project due to tax arrears.

On March 24, the People's Committee of Quang Binh province confirmed that it had just issued a document announcing the revocation of land granted to Indochina Central Joint Stock Company to implement the project of building Indochina Quang Binh Resort in Quang Phu commune (Dong Hoi city). The reason: overdue tax debt of more than 23 billion VND.

The announcement of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province also said that the tax authority of this province has taken measures to force Dong Duong Mien Trung Joint Stock Company to pay its tax debt. However, up to now, this company has not done so.

"The above violation of Dong Duong Mien Trung Joint Stock Company is a case of land recovery," said the People's Committee of Quang Binh province.

Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee decided to reclaim more than 7.1 hectares of land granted to Indochina Central Company to implement the project of building Indochina Quang Binh Resort in Quang Phu commune.

This land was granted a certificate of land use rights, house ownership rights and other assets attached to the land by the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (now the Department of Agriculture and Environment) in 2019.

Also according to the announcement of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province, the company must complete the handling of assets on the land within no more than 45 days from the date of receiving the land recovery notice.
