Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Van Thach inspected the progress of site clearance for the Dong Dang Expressway Project (Lang Son)

On the afternoon of March 21, Mr. Hoang Van Thach, member of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected the progress of compensation and site clearance for the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh (Cao Bang) Expressway Construction Investment Project under the public-private partnership model. He was accompanied by leaders of several departments, branches, and Thach An and Quang Hoa districts.

By the end of March 20, Thach An district had 29/105 households and individuals who had demolished their houses; 15 households were dismantling; 25 households had chosen a date to relocate, and the remaining 20 households had committed to relocate and hand over the site before March 31, 2025. Quang Hoa district had 31/85 households relocating and demolishing their houses; the district is currently focusing on propaganda and mobilization work, field counting according to the technical design boundary; speeding up the preparation and submission of compensation plans. In the 5 communes and towns of Thach An district where the expressway passes through, the procedures have been completed to prepare plans and approve compensation and site clearance estimates for 139 cases of land-related problems. For the boundary expansion section, the District Land Clearance Council has received the temporary expansion map in 5 communes and towns with an area of ​​about 61.1 hectares, with about 472 households; currently focusing on propaganda and field inspection work.

Up to now, the Management Board of Traffic Construction Investment Projects is coordinating with relevant parties to accelerate the progress of site clearance and relocation of power line infrastructure works, ensuring the completion of the relocation of 0.4kV, 35kV and 110kV lines in the two districts of Thach An and Quang Hoa. The result of site handover according to technical design documents to date has reached 70.09%.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Hoang Van Thach, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the efforts of the two districts of Thach An and Quang Hoa in carrying out the site clearance work. However, with the current large amount of work, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that in the coming time, regardless of holidays, localities and units must properly implement the direction of the Prime Minister to accelerate, resolutely and drastically clear the main route to complete the handover of clean site to the construction unit on March 31, 2025. The Management Board of the Traffic Construction Investment Project and the construction unit shall coordinate with the districts to measure, count, construct and speed up the relocation of power line infrastructure to complete before April 30. Thach An district shall strengthen propaganda and mobilization work, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of the people; review and supplement households and individuals for resettlement lottery as soon as possible. Relevant departments and branches continue to support the district in site clearance, compensation counting; during the implementation process, regularly update reports, promptly discuss difficulties to remove obstacles. On the construction side, focus on "3 shifts, 4 teams", review capacity, concentrate machinery and equipment to speed up the progress of construction sites.

Previously, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Van Thach and the working delegation inspected the progress of dismantling houses of households that must be relocated to clear the ground in Na Pa hamlet and the construction progress of the National Highway 4A overpass at Km54 + 030, Tuc Nga hamlet, Duc Xuan commune; inspected the dismantling of houses in Dong Khe town and Le Lai commune.
