Priority to attract investment in urban and service projects

Since the beginning of the year, the Dung Quat Economic Zone Management Board and the provincial industrial parks have granted investment certificates to a number of enterprises implementing service projects in Dung Quat Economic Zone, focusing on the fields of mechanical and oil and gas services. This is also the field that Dung Quat Oil Refinery (Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company) and factories in the Hoa Phat Dung Quat Iron and Steel Complex (Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company) are in great need of.
Recently, Quang Ngai PTSC Petroleum Services Joint Stock Company has started the Dung Quat Petroleum Services Area project, located in the planning of the eastern industrial park of Dung Quat Economic Zone. The project has a total investment of nearly 300 billion VND, with an operating period of 50 years. Director of Quang Ngai PTSC Petroleum Services Joint Stock Company Le Hong Long affirmed that the project is invested to meet the increasing demand for high-quality technical services in the fields of oil and gas, industry, and renewable energy in the future.

Head of the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and the provincial industrial parks, Tran Van Man, said that Quang Ngai is currently continuing to attract investment projects in the fields of urban infrastructure, services, and trade in Dung Quat Economic Zone, such as the new urban area in the southeast of Dung Quat; the northern Dung Quat port - logistics area and investment projects in worker housing, commercial housing, tourism, urban and resort investment. The Management Board is coordinating to develop documents and information on the list of projects prioritized for investment attraction in Dung Quat Economic Zone and the provincial industrial parks, as well as mechanisms and preferential policies of the central and provincial governments for projects, in order to promote investment attraction to serve the socio-economic development of the province.
