Emulation cluster of the Department of Home Affairs of the northern mountainous border provinces summarizes emulation and reward work

Attending on the provincial leadership side were comrade Nguyen Thanh Sinh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of units in the Emulation Cluster of the Department of Home Affairs of the northern mountainous border provinces including: Dien Bien, Son La, Lai Chau, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Lao Cai, Ha Giang.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Sinh highly appreciated the emulation movements of the Cluster in the past time, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of the whole sector. The Department of Home Affairs of the provinces has performed well the role of advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee to implement projects on organizational structure, staff reduction, administrative reform, especially the arrangement and streamlining of the organizational structure. In Lao Cai alone, 7 new departments have been established on the basis of merging and consolidating departments; the provincial government has reduced 100 organizations, agencies, and units, exceeding the requirements of the Central Government.

At the conference, representatives of units in the cluster gave speeches and discussed, focusing on solutions to continue implementing the Project on testing and assessing the capacity of commune-level cadres and civil servants; improving the effectiveness of emulation and reward work to contribute to the successful implementation of socio-economic development, national defense and security tasks; solutions to implement regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the implementation of organizational restructuring.

On this occasion, 2 groups including Lao Cai Provincial Department of Home Affairs - Head of Cluster 2024; Cao Bang Provincial Department of Home Affairs - Deputy Head of Cluster 2024 and 7 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The conference also approved the draft emulation covenant and signed the emulation covenant for 2025 (photo above). The Department of Home Affairs of Cao Bang province was elected as the Head of the Cluster, and the Department of Home Affairs of Dien Bien province was elected as the Deputy Head of the Emulation Cluster of the Department of Home Affairs of 7 Northern mountainous border provinces in 2025.
