Effectively carry out propaganda work before, during and after the 1st Congress of the Party Delegates of the Ministry of Home Affairs, term 2025

On the morning of March 21, 2025, the Propaganda Subcommittee of the 1st Congress of Party Delegates of the Ministry of Home Affairs, term 2025 - 2030, held its first meeting.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Ha - Member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Head of the Propaganda Subcommittee chaired the meeting.

Attending the meeting were members of the Propaganda Subcommittee, the Subcommittee's Working Group, representatives of the Ministry's Trade Union, and the Ministry's news and press agencies.

Pursuant to Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; Conclusion No. 118-KL/TW dated February 18, 2025 of the Politburo on adjusting and supplementing a number of contents of Directive No. 35-CT/TW; Instruction No. 176-HD/BTCTW dated December 10, 2024 of the Central Propaganda Department guiding the propaganda of Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs issued Plan No. 02-KH/DU dated March 13, 2024 on organizing Congresses towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

To prepare for the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs, term 2025-2030, the Party Committee of the Ministry has established 4 subcommittees: Documents Subcommittee, Personnel Subcommittee, Service Organization Subcommittee and Propaganda Subcommittee. In which, the Propaganda Subcommittee consists of 9 comrades, with the key task of developing and submitting to the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Ministry and the Steering Committee of the Party Congress of the Ministry a plan to propagate the congress; directing and organizing the implementation of the plan to propagate the congress; reporting on the summary of the propaganda work of the congress.

Effectively carry out propaganda work before, during and after the congress

Propaganda work not only focuses on the Party Congress of the Ministry of Home Affairs but also links with grassroots congresses, towards the 14th National Party Congress. Propaganda is associated with major national celebrations; the results of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW are associated with the results of implementing Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW dated October 25, 2021 of the 13th Central Executive Committee on promoting and rectifying the Party and the political system; the preparation and organization of Party congresses at all levels; the contributions of Party organizations, cadres, and Party members of agencies and units to the process of building political tasks of the unit and the Ministry in conjunction with the requirements of national renewal, before entering a new era, an era of strong and prosperous development of the Vietnamese people.

At the meeting, members of the Propaganda Subcommittee also discussed and highlighted tasks and contents to effectively carry out propaganda work before, during and after the Party Congresses at all levels; launching emulation movements, welcoming activities, diverse media products, etc., contributing to making the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs, term 2025 - 2030, a special political event, affirming the position of the Ministry of Home Affairs after the merger period, while spreading the spirit of solidarity and innovation.

Comrade Nguyen Huy Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry, Deputy Head of the Propaganda Subcommittee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Party Committee of the Ministry reported at the meeting on the results of the implementation of the Subcommittee's document development.

Propaganda forms need to be diverse, rich, vivid and specific.

In her concluding remarks, Comrade Nguyen Thi Ha - Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Head of the Propaganda Subcommittee, praised the efforts of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Party Committee of the Ministry in preparing the draft Propaganda Plan for Party Congresses at all levels in the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs for the 2025 - 2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha emphasized that propaganda work needs to be deployed synchronously at four levels - from the grassroots to the 14th National Party Congress - with high concentration before, during and after the Congress.

For effective propaganda work, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha requested: members of the Propaganda Subcommittee, based on the tasks and fields that the industry and unit are in charge of, need to make great efforts to promote their roles and responsibilities towards the Subcommittee to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

Propaganda work must ensure the correct leadership, political and ideological orientation of the Party. Focus on propaganda, highlighting the major policies stated in the Congress documents, the significance of the Congress of the Ministry of Home Affairs for the 2025-2030 term; as well as the outstanding achievements and results of the Ministry of Home Affairs before and after the merger. At the same time, it is necessary to emphasize the stature and new challenges of the Ministry in the coming time in contributing to the state administration, national and local governance, towards social justice and progress in the new era. This is also a premise towards the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party (2030) and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (2045), Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha emphasized.

In particular, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha requested to focus on promoting the exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members; spreading examples of "good people, good deeds", creative models, typical advanced models in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Patriotic emulation movements, together with the determination to successfully implement the Resolution for the 2020 - 2025 term, need to be vividly portrayed and strongly inspired.

In addition, the Head of the Propaganda Subcommittee requested that it is necessary to pay attention to orienting and organizing well the collection of opinions for draft documents submitted to the Party Congresses at all levels, the 1st Congress of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Home Affairs for the 2025-2030 term, and the 14th National Party Congress. It is necessary to actively and proactively protect the Party's ideological foundation, proactively prevent and promptly combat all actions of hostile forces that take advantage of the collection of opinions to spread false and negative information and viewpoints, and sabotage the Party and the State.

At the end of the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha directed the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department to urgently receive opinions from members of the Subcommittee and related units, complete the draft document for early promulgation and serve as a basis for propaganda work on the 1st Party Congress of the Ministry of Home Affairs, term 2025 - 2030.
