Nearly 500 athletes participate in the 10th Provincial Youth Union and Association Sports Festival

Nearly 500 athletes from 12 units participated in the Sports Festival.

This Sports Festival has nearly 500 athletes who are Youth Union and Association officials from 12 units. The athletes compete in 04 sports, with 06 events including: men's mini soccer, women's volleyball, mixed tug of war (each event has 12 teams participating) and badminton (competing in 03 events: men's singles, women's singles and mixed doubles).

Mr. Tran Tri Cuong, Member of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Secretary of Tra Vinh Provincial Youth Union delivered the opening speech at the Sports Festival.

The sports festival is an opportunity for the Youth Union and Association cadres to exchange and learn from each other in their work. Thereby, it aims to strengthen the spirit of solidarity and cohesion between units; increase training, promote the movement of physical training... In particular, this is also an activity for units to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2025); celebrate the 65th anniversary of the signing of the agreement between the two provinces of Tra Vinh and Thai Binh...

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Tra Vinh Provincial Youth Union, presented a thank you letter to the sponsor of the Sports Festival - Trung Ngoc Sports Complex.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Sports Festival will start the qualifying matches in the following sports: men's mini soccer, women's volleyball and badminton. The closing ceremony and award ceremony are scheduled to take place on the afternoon of March 16.
