General Director of Vietnam Post Corporation works at Hue City Post Office
On the afternoon of March 21, 2025, Comrade Chu Quang Hao, General Director of Vietnam Post Corporation, had a working session with officers, employees and workers of Hue City Post Office.
At the meeting, the General Director acknowledged and appreciated the efforts of the leadership and employees in the past time. In particular, Hue City Post Office has proactively followed closely the production and business tasks, closely coordinated with the City People's Committee to deploy public services, contributing to promoting the transfer process and guiding the implementation of services throughout the city to the Post Office.

The General Director emphasized that Hue City Post Office needs to continue to maximize the advantages of its network of service points, in addition to focusing on business, it also undertakes important tasks such as implementing Project 468 and guiding online public administrative procedures.
To improve operational efficiency, the General Director requested the unit to review all customer data, operating mechanisms and sales force, including B2B, transaction officers and commune postmen. The Director of Hue City Post Office must directly direct and supervise the implementation of these tasks. At the same time, the unit needs to analyze market share, evaluate the market, identify competitors and coordinate closely with the Head of Business Department, Directors of District Post Offices to adjust appropriate strategies.
Regarding customer development, the General Director requested to review the list of businesses and industrial parks in the area, promote B2B marketing and search for potential customers to increase revenue and ensure income for employees. At the same time, the sales channel at the post office also needs to be re-evaluated to optimize operational efficiency. In addition, Hue City Post Office needs to tighten the management of the area through the digital map system, specific zoning by radius, number of households and administrative areas. Each post office and employee needs to have a clear management area, set development goals for each month and each day to ensure sustainable growth.
Regarding the implementation of online public services, the General Director emphasized the importance of accelerating the points of guidance for people to carry out public administrative procedures. At the same time, he requested the leaders of Hue City Post Office to quickly deploy, recruit, train personnel and develop service price norms. It is necessary to review the system of service points to announce post offices and Commune Post Offices - Culture that are capable of undertaking this task. Training must be carried out strictly, ensuring that Post Office staff have the capacity to guide people. In particular, in the first phase, Hue City Post Office will provide free guidance until the city arranges funding to pay for this service.
Receiving the direction of the General Director, Director of Hue City Post Office Le Van Nghi affirmed that the unit will focus on implementing key tasks, including: Reviewing and expanding the list of potential customers, especially in the B2B field, to boost revenue. Identifying the contents of the cooperation agreement between Vietnam Post and Hue City as an important task, the Director of Hue City Post Office pledged to directly direct and closely monitor the implementation progress, coordinate with local authorities at all levels to put online public services into effective operation, meet the needs of the people and contribute to the overall development of Vietnam Post.
