Accordingly, the delegates conducted an additional election for the position of Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Duong province, term X, 2021 - 2026. With 62/62 votes in favor (reaching 91.18% of the total number of delegates of the Provincial People's Council), Mr. Nguyen Van Loc was elected as Chairman of the People's Council of Binh Duong province, term X, 2021 - 2026 (replacing Mr. Pham Van Chanh who resigned from the Provincial People's Council due to health reasons).
Mr. Nguyen Van Loc was born on November 6, 1966; hometown: Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province; qualifications: Senior in political theory, Master of Political Science majoring in Party Building; currently Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Van Loc gave a speech accepting the assignment.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc affirmed that, with his awareness and responsibility towards the Party Committee, the government, voters and people in the province, he will make continuous efforts to improve his political capacity, cultivate theories in association with practice; maintain the moral qualities of cadres, party members and delegates of the Provincial People's Council; continue to learn, be open-minded, dedicated, and make every effort, quickly approach and effectively carry out new tasks. On the basis of inheriting and promoting the experiences and achievements of previous generations, he will unite with the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, together with the delegates of the Provincial People's Council, to continue to innovate methods and improve the quality and effectiveness of activities in all areas of work, affirming the position and role of the People's Council as a state power agency in the locality, representing the will and aspirations of the people.
Mr. Nguyen Van Loc also hopes to continue receiving the attention, leadership and direction of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee; the attention and comments of revolutionary veterans, previous generations of provincial leaders; the close coordination of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and agencies, units and localities; the consensus and support of socio-political organizations and people, voters in the province. From there, the Provincial People's Council together with the People's Committees at all levels will operate more and more effectively, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 11th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council in the period of 2021 - 2026.
The delegates of the Provincial People's Council also voted to elect additional positions of members of the Provincial People's Committee, Head and Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021 - 2026. As a result, Mr. Vo Anh Tuan - Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Colonel Ta Van Dep - Director of the Provincial Police and Ms. Ha Thanh - Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs were elected as members of the Provincial People's Committee, term X, 2021 - 2026; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thao Nguyen was elected as Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Khoa Dieu An was elected as Deputy Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Provincial People's Council, term X, 2021 - 2026.
