In the past term, the Health Sector Trade Union has achieved quite comprehensive results in all areas, contributing significantly to the implementation of the sector's political tasks. Grassroots trade unions have made many positive contributions in proposing and recommending the development and supplementation of guidelines, policies and laws on issues related to the regime, rights and interests of workers in the health sector.
During the term, the Health Sector Trade Union organized 5 "Tet Sum Vay" programs, presented 590 gifts worth 425 million VND; visited and presented gifts to 526 union members and employees in difficult circumstances with a total of nearly 380 million VND.
Grassroots trade unions coordinated with heads of agencies, units and enterprises to visit, give gifts and subsidies to 1,200 union members and employees in especially difficult circumstances on holidays, New Year, "Workers' Month", and Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day with a total amount of over 865 million VND; mobilized over 1.3 billion VND to propose support for building "Union Shelters" and directly visited and provided emergency subsidies to union members and employees in difficult circumstances.

Patriotic emulation movements among union members and workers have been strongly initiated, especially the movements: "Good workers - Creative workers", "Improving medical ethics", "Workers, civil servants, and laborers strive to overcome difficulties, be creative, and determined to defeat the COVID-19 pandemic"... The work of building a strong union organization has been increasingly strengthened.
Based on the achieved results, in the coming term, the Ha Tinh Health Sector Trade Union has proposed three breakthroughs, including: focusing on performing the function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; innovating the content and methods of trade union activities, focusing on the grassroots and workers; effectively implementing emulation movements to contribute to the development of the Ha Tinh health sector.

In the 2023-2028 term, the Health Sector Trade Union needs to continue to improve the quality of activities of the sector's trade unions and grassroots trade unions; focus on the grassroots and link it with the tasks of the health sector; pay attention to welfare activities and social work to take care of the material and spiritual life of union members and workers; improve the effectiveness of trade union communication work; promote training, fostering, and introducing typical factors for Party admission; promote the role of trade unions in building green - clean - beautiful - safe medical facilities and attracting and retaining skilled medical staff...
