Famous Japanese boy band to perform in Vietnam

Debuting in July 2022, Exile Tribe is the 7th group to succeed Japan's national group Exile. The group consists of 7 members: Tsurugi, Nakanishi Ryoga, Watanabe Ren, JIMMY, Kohatsu Kokoro, Handa Ryushin, WEESA, who are proficient in dancing, rapping and singing.

Since September 2022, the group has been active throughout Southeast Asia, focusing mainly on Bangkok, Thailand and expanding to Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore... The song "Fire" released in September 2023 has created a buzz in the Thai music market, reaching No. 2 on the main chart on the Thai T-Pop weekly chart upon its release and remaining in the Top 4 for 4 consecutive weeks. The group has also performed at numerous major festivals in Asian countries and quickly created a fever with an ever-increasing number of fans.

In early 2024, the group made an impression when releasing the song "Just like Dat", which quickly became a million-view song and appeared in the Top 50 Spotify in many countries. At this festival, Exile Tribe will collaborate with Vietnamese singer My My, promising to create an impressive stage.

Sharing with the media, Exile Tribe said: "It is our honor to perform at one of the largest Vietnamese-Japanese cultural festivals in Ho Chi Minh City. The group hopes to have the opportunity to interact with Vietnamese audiences, as well as become true Saigonese."

Exile Tribe is expected to experience as a local to places known as typical of Saigon youth such as: Sidewalk coffee, Cau Mong, Bach Dang Wharf, enjoy Dong Du Strawberry Tea, Peach Tea at the City Theater...

Besides Exile Tribe, the 9th Vietnam-Japan festival also has the participation of many artists such as Dong Nhi - Ong Cao Thang, Tang Duy Tan, My My... The program has the theme "Holding hands together" , with the desire to become a bridge for cultural exchange, tradition, technology, human resources, tourism between the two countries of Vietnam - Japan, aiming at the goal of bilateral cooperation, coexistence and prosperity and building the future.
