Legendary band 911 will perform with singers My Anh, Orange, DJ Johnny Hong Mao, MinDanie... in the 'UK Festival'.
On September 9-10, the British Embassy in Vietnam will host the UK Festival . The event takes place at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hanoi, marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
At the press conference, British Ambassador to Vietnam Iain Frew affirmed that the festival will bring the best of the UK, from products and services to cuisine, art, culture and music.
"We also bring to Vietnam our best people - from the Army band, DJs to the legendary 911 band," the Ambassador affirmed.

The festival will feature extremely engaging performances by the band 911 and famous Vietnamese singers such as My Anh, Orange, talented DJ Johnny Hong Mao, and MinDaniel.
Another highlight is the cultural night with a symphony orchestra and a creative fashion show.

Singer Jimmy Constable of 911 said that in February this year, the band collaborated with singer Duc Phuc in the MV Em dong y. Thanks to this song, foreign artists had the opportunity to interact with Vietnamese audiences and were happy to be welcomed here.
"This is the fourth time we have returned to Vietnam to participate in the UK Festival. The Vietnamese audience is very friendly, we are happy to be treated like family. The group will perform with My Anh and will have special performances with a female artist from Vietnam," said a representative of the 911 band.
Attending the festival, students and parents will have the opportunity to explore the scholarship programs currently available from 20 prestigious British schools; display UK commercial products in consumer goods, healthcare, financial services. Visitors will also learn more about leading projects and technologies in the field of renewable energy, demonstrating the commitment of both countries to a “greener”, more sustainable future.
In addition, within the framework of the program, Ambassador Iain Frew, with the support of culinary blogger Phan Anh, will show off his talent in making traditional British scones with a recipe that bears the mark of Hanoi autumn.
After Hanoi, the UK Festival will come to Ho Chi Minh City on September 16 and Da Nang on October 16.
