AI makes data journalism easier. From economic and social data, AI creates in-depth news stories, such as illustrating the impact of climate change through temperature data. This not only enriches the content but also strengthens the credibility, helping the audience understand the issue through stories from numbers.

“Smartphones are also creating a big change in journalism. Journalists can film, edit and broadcast live, and interact with audiences via social networks through this medium,” said Mr. Chien.

Sharing the same view, journalist Nguyen Truong Son, VTV Digital Center, said that in harsh working conditions such as storms, using mobile phones instead of professional cameras has become an optimal solution, helping reporters still be able to do their jobs effectively.

At the workshop, experts shared many perspectives and solutions to maximize the potential of technology in the field of journalism. The development of AI, Big Data and mobile tools has created breakthroughs in the production and distribution of information content.

Therefore, the problem is not whether the press agency is large or small, central or local, but whether the mindset of journalists has truly changed to digital thinking. That mindset comes not only from leaders but also from reporters and television editors themselves.
