In the New Year atmosphere, the Vietnamese community in San Jose City (California - USA) is busy preparing for the traditional Tet. Outside the Lion Plaza building on Tully Avenue, fresh fruits, flowers, fireworks... are sold in abundance and variety.
Inside the building, Love Me Knots Bridal owner Christina Bui showed off a variety of traditional Vietnamese dresses for both men and women. For her, "the new year brings new things - luck, health, prosperity."

This year, Christina Bui is especially happy because after many years, the outdoor market with many traditional Vietnamese goods can operate again.
"There are three different property managers here. I don't think they understand the importance of our Lunar New Year. Just seeing people walking around makes me happy," Christina Bui told ABC News .
Not far from Lion Plaza is Grand Century Mall. On the evening of January 24 (local time), people were trying to complete the final stages of organizing Tet activities over the weekend. People were shopping and enjoying activities held in parallel with the Tet market.

Meanwhile, Phuoc Loc Tho shopping mall (Westminster City, Orange County), the largest market of the Vietnamese community in California, is bustling with people shopping for Tet. Like every year, this year's flower market and night market are filled with all kinds of flowers, ornamental plants, cakes, jams, Tet decorations... The evening food court is very crowded.

Equally exciting, the spring atmosphere filled the "Montréal At Ty Tet Fair 2025". The Vietnamese community in Montreal, Quebec province, was excited by the bustling atmosphere of Tet.
Although not as complete as in the homeland, with the contribution of everyone, the Tet of Vietnamese people living abroad is still full of identity and tradition with Tet cakes and jams, Ao Dai performances, lion dances, drumming...

Of course, Tet fairs are indispensable for Vietnamese people in Australia. The Tet fair in the suburbs of St Albans, about 30 km from the center of Melbourne, is bustling with the red color of parallel sentences, decorations...
