Lang Nu, in Phuc Khanh Commune, Bao Yen District, Lao Cai Province, once experienced a terrible flash flood.
The special feature of this exhibition is the appearance of the people of Lang Nu - the "main characters" in the photos. They are living proof of extraordinary resilience in the face of natural disasters. Their presence has brought new vitality to the exhibition, giving viewers the opportunity to listen to authentic stories from the people who have experienced the incident.

"Now, our people are receiving attention from the authorities at all levels and have stable housing. I hope that through this photo exhibition, we can receive attention from people at home and abroad to continue to accompany the people," said Mr. Diep.
At the photo exhibition, another situation that moved many visitors was the story of grandmother Hoang Thi Thanh and little Hoang Ngoc Lan (6 years old). On the day the tragic flood swept through Lang Nu village, little Lan's family lost her father, mother and two brothers. She was also seriously injured. But with her resilience, she is now healthy and living happily with grandma Thanh.
Mr. Sam Van Bong, a resident of Lang Nu who suffered a lot from the flash flood, acted as a "tour guide" to tell the tragic stories through each photo. "We are very happy that new houses have been built, people have moved in and lived happily, partly erasing the pain caused by the natural disaster" - Mr. Bong shared his joy.
The exhibition not only reflects the strong revival of Lang Nu, but also honors the spirit of solidarity and mutual love of the community at home and abroad. Through the lens of photographer Nguyen A, viewers can feel the optimism and belief in a bright future of the people after great losses.
