BHG - On the afternoon of March 12, the working delegation of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province led by comrade Trinh Hang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, presented 5 billion VND to support the social security program to the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. Welcoming the delegation was comrade Vang Seo Con, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Leaders of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province donated 5 billion VND to support the social security program to the Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

At the presentation ceremony, Mr. Trinh Hang, Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, said: Storm No. 3 occurred in 2024, causing serious impacts on some northern provinces. Together with localities across the country, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province launched a support movement to all levels and sectors in the province. With the joint efforts of units, individuals and enterprises, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province has supported over 50 billion VND to damaged localities, of which Ha Giang province received 1 billion VND. Up to now, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Fatherland Front Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province have continued to support 5 billion VND to Ha Giang province to build social security works, continuing to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3. He hoped that in the coming time, the two provinces will continue to have coordination, exchange and cooperation activities in many fields to further strengthen solidarity and promote mutual development.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, Comrade Vang Seo Con, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, expressed his gratitude to Ba Ria - Vung Tau province for its sympathy and sharing with the people affected by storm No. 3. He said that with the support of units across the country, the work of overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3 in the province has been promptly implemented, and people's lives have now basically stabilized. This support will be used for the purpose of building infrastructure, building rural roads, and implementing social security programs to ensure the right purpose. Hopefully, in the coming time, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province will continue to pay attention and prioritize supporting Ha Giang province, sharing with the people in difficulty in the province.
