Police, military, union members and youth of Nam Thai A commune support people in demolishing old houses.
Each house has a total area of 40-60m2 , ensuring a hard floor, hard walls, and hard roof. The construction cost is from 60-75 million VND/house; of which, the Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Kien Giang Province supports 60 million VND/house, the rest is contributed by the family and relatives of the beneficiary household.
Police, military, union members, and youth support dismantling, transporting materials, and leveling the ground for single-parent and disabled households.
The Steering Committee for Eliminating Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in Nam Thai A Commune (An Bien) handed over the house to Mr. Pham Van Xe's family, residing in Dong Giua Hamlet, Nam Thai A Commune.
Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nam Thai A Commune, Le Van Keo, said that up to now, the commune has completed 100% of the houses under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households in the area. The commune strives to complete and hand over 38/38 houses to near-poor households before April 30, 2025.
