Promoting the role of a bridge to support businesses

- In recent times, the Provincial Business Association has carried out many activities to contribute to creating connections between the business community in the province, acting as a bridge between businesses and state agencies, authorities and providing multi-faceted support for member businesses to develop. Since then, the business community and entrepreneurs have made many important contributions to the development of the province.

Dr. Ho Viet Hiep, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, said that the association has had solutions to apply information technology, creating close connections and serving members effectively and practically. Training and education activities focus on practice at enterprises; promptly grasp the difficulties and problems of members to transfer to provincial leaders and departments and branches for quick resolution. Close coordination with departments, branches, sectors, and economic organizations has helped to remove difficulties, serving members with increasingly better quality. Since then, the prestige has increased day by day, and the unit has recruited many new business members.

Most clearly, in resolving difficulties and obstacles for enterprises, the Provincial Business Association has done a good job of acting as a bridge between the government and enterprises. Through Zalo, the Business Support Board regularly advises members on questions, introduces enterprises to use each other's products, proposes solutions when members need credit, human resources, raw materials, provides trade information for members... over 200 meetings. Creates conditions for members to participate in business dialogues organized by tax and customs departments. At the same time, receives and forwards 25 dossiers to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Long Xuyen City People's Committee, the Special Working Group under the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Finance... The Provincial Business Association immediately responds to enterprises when they are processed by departments, branches, and local authorities... The Business Support Board advises members on accessing loan sources; updates and disseminates policies and documents related to credit, capital sources, preferential interest rates... to members. Participate in commercial bank seminars to dialogue with businesses and customers to resolve capital difficulties and sign contracts with new customers.

Provincial leaders attend business coffee

Promote the effectiveness of the business coffee model, in order to create more opportunities for member businesses to reflect on difficulties, problems, recommendations, and proposals to the government for quick and timely resolution. This is an opportunity for businesses to meet, connect, trade, share, exchange, and introduce each other's products. At the business coffee sessions, departments and branches quickly inform about policies related to businesses, while building the image of An Giang government leaders as dynamic, creative, and accompanying businesses. Each session has 50 - 80 member businesses and over 14 provincial leaders, departments and branches participating.

Permanent Vice President of An Giang Provincial Business Association Nguyen Thi Kim Chi shared that in order to help businesses increase sales, the Provincial Business Association promotes its role and tasks, actively promoting domestic and foreign trade through close coordination with the Department of Industry and Trade, the Trade Promotion Center, domestic and foreign economic organizations, and other business associations... Typically, such as: Attending the Vietnam-US Trade Promotion Forum and the 6th Creative Enterprise Honor Ceremony/2023; Trade Promotion Conference with the Vietnamese Trade Office system abroad... Working with the Department of Industry and Trade with the Dubai Chambers Vietnam Trade Promotion Office and some other provinces to An Giang for trade...

Carrying out foreign trade promotion activities, the Provincial Business Association and enterprises attended a trade meeting with the Takeo Provincial Business Association and the Cambodian Business Association. Enterprises participated in the seminar to disseminate the Cambodian Investment Law, thereby connecting and introducing An Giang products to Cambodian enterprises very effectively. In addition, the Provincial Business Association also successfully organized a trade trip to Laos, with 18 enterprises participating. After the trip, members were very excited with the favorable signals, connecting enterprises of the neighboring province with enterprises of An Giang in trade activities and connecting tours... "Through the trips, it helps enterprises connect, expand potential markets, increase opportunities for investment and business expansion" - General Director of Hanh Duy Trading - Service Company Limited (HD Group) Nguyen Thanh Duy said.

Keeping up with the era of digital technology development, the Provincial Business Association actively supports enterprises in accessing science and technology, digital transformation, improving productivity, supporting enterprises in green and sustainable development; participating in the implementation of the project "Digital transformation for small and medium enterprises"; co-chairing the scientific workshop "Promoting the application of science - technology and innovation in digital transformation in enterprises and cooperatives in An Giang province"... In addition, encouraging enterprises to apply e-commerce, cashless payments; supporting enterprises in training, coaching, and disseminating laws. With the support of the Provincial Business Association, in addition to effective production and business activities, the An Giang business community does not forget its social responsibility. In 2024, enterprises contributed nearly 900 million VND to the Social Security Fund.

In the coming time, the Provincial Business Association will focus on organizing many programs and activities to support businesses in improving their competitiveness, helping them promptly grasp new mechanisms and policies, proactively taking advantage of signed trade agreements to expand the market and develop increasingly stronger.
