Vice Chairman of Long An Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa discussed with the Special Military Region

Through the exchange and agreement between the two delegations, over the years, the cooperative relationship between the Long An Provincial Steering Committee 515 and the Special Military Region has always been maintained, promoting affection and strengthening solidarity.

Every year, Long An province and the Special Military Region send delegations to visit, celebrate Tet, exchange and coordinate in the task of searching for and collecting the remains of Vietnamese martyrs who died in the capital Phnom Penh.

Lieutenant General Mom Sopheap - Deputy Commander of the Special Military Region, said that currently, the capital Phnom Penh has a very fast urbanization rate. Witnesses provided information about the graves of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers who are old and have passed away. Therefore, the collection and provision of information about the burial places of the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers is becoming increasingly scarce.

However, with affection, responsibility and gratitude for the sacrifices of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers for Cambodia, officers and soldiers of the Special Military Region always pay attention to and propagate to the people about providing information related to the burial places of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers so that they can soon return home to their families and loved ones.

With sincere thanks to the Special Military Region Command for always paying attention to building a close relationship with Long An province, the Vice Chairman of the Long An Provincial People's Committee believes that in the coming time, the good traditional friendship between the two sides will further develop.

On the occasion of the traditional New Year "Chol Chnam Thmay" , on behalf of the leaders of Long An province and the Steering Committee 515 of Long An province, Mr. Pham Tan Hoa sent his best wishes to the generals and officers of the Special Military Region for a new year of good health, happiness and success; and wished the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia to develop more sustainably.

On this occasion, the Steering Committee 515 of Long An province sent gifts to celebrate the traditional New Year "Chol Chnam Thmay" to generals and officers of the Special Military Region and visited the traditional house of Group 7708 in the Special Military Region.

Before that, the delegation visited the Vietnam Volunteer Army Friendship Monument in the capital Phnom Penh and offered incense at the statue of Hero Nguyen Van Ngo, an outstanding son of Long An province in Svay Rieng province, Kingdom of Cambodia./.
