On the afternoon of February 28, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had a discussion with Chinese businesses.
At the seminar, the Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam, Chairman of the Chinese Business Association in Vietnam and Chinese enterprises highly appreciated the investment and business environment and potential in Vietnam; especially the support, regular meetings, and removal of difficulties and obstacles for businesses by the Government leaders.

Speaking at the seminar, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hoped that Chinese enterprises would choose Vietnam as a production and business base; focus on rapid and sustainable development of digital economy, green economy, circular economy, knowledge economy, sharing economy; conduct healthy and legal business; transfer high technology to Vietnam; support Vietnamese enterprises to participate in the global value chain; expand investment scale; invest in traditional growth drivers such as investment, export, consumption; promote new growth drivers...
The Prime Minister also asked Chinese enterprises to continue to give advice to Vietnam on institutional improvement; science and technology transfer; smart management experience; investment in clean energy, renewable energy; investment in transport infrastructure; development of industrial parks and economic zones; investment in financial centers; development of green finance; construction of border economic zones, etc.
The Prime Minister assigned specific tasks to ministries and sectors in resolving recommendations and promoting specific projects as proposed by Chinese enterprises to bring economic, investment and trade relations to a level commensurate with the bilateral relationship; including the implementation of railway projects connecting Vietnam and China.
