Reporting to the Ministry of Planning and Investment on the 2024 investment promotion program, Khanh Hoa province said that in the first 6 months of 2023, the locality had two important plans approved by the Prime Minister.

These are the Khanh Hoa Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 and the Adjustment of the General Planning of Van Phong Economic Zone, Khanh Hoa Province to 2040, with a vision to 2050.

The province is submitting to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval of the adjustment of the general planning of Nha Trang City until 2040. At the same time, the province is speeding up the preparation and submission for approval of the Cam Lam Urban Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and zoning plans in Van Phong Economic Zone.

Many large enterprises want to invest in Khanh Hoa.

Khanh Hoa province said that the approved plans have created interest and attracted large corporations to survey and seek investment opportunities in urban, industrial, service, technology, and smart city projects...

For example, FPT Group, Capital House Group, Trung Nam Group, Sun Group... or Quantum Group want to invest in My Giang Power Plant Complex with a total capacity of 6,000 MW in Van Phong Economic Zone.

In the first 6 months of this year, the province also attracted 8 non-budget investment projects with a total registered investment capital of about 4,078 billion VND.

At the same time, Khanh Hoa has just signed a memorandum of understanding with 16 strategic investors in the fields of technology development, digital transformation software products, high-end resort tourism, high-tech aquaculture... with a total registered capital of more than 80,000 billion VND.

Development direction of Cam Ranh Bay, Nha Trang City, Van Phong Economic Zone

The province's investment orientation for 2024 shows that, for Van Phong Economic Zone, it will focus on attracting investment to build an innovation center; a commercial and financial center with a scale of VND 12,000 billion or more.

Or invest in construction and business of urban areas with a scale of 300 hectares or more; invest in hotels, tourist areas, high-class resorts and entertainment complexes with golf courses, with a scale of 25,000 billion VND or more.

Nha Trang City will develop into an economic, political, social, cultural, scientific, technological, and human resource training center; further effectively promote its role as an important growth pole and international integration gateway of Khanh Hoa province.

In this area, the province will promote investment attraction for international hospital projects and Vinh Luong solid waste plant projects.

Cam Ranh Bay area is a key economic and social area, associated with national defense and security. In which, Cam Ranh City will be developed into a tourism and logistics urban area and Cam Lam district will become a modern, ecological, international-class airport urban area.

At the same time, the province will review slow-to-implement and ineffective projects to reclaim and create land funds to attract new investment projects with production relocation needs.

In the list of 27 investment projects in Khanh Hoa province, it shows that there are projects that many "big guys" are interested in investing in at the same time.

A typical example is the Tuan Le - Hon Ngang Tourism, Service and Urban Area project in Van Thanh and Van Tho communes, Van Ninh district, with a scale of 600-1,300 hectares, attracting dozens of interested large investors, including Sun Group Corporation, FPT Corporation, IPPG Group, No Va and Dat Tam Joint Venture, Flamingo Holding Group Corporation, Viglacera Corporation - CTCP, Histar Real Estate Investment Company Limited...

Or the Co Ma Tu Bong Ecological Urban Area project in Van Ninh district, with a scale of 2,100 hectares, also attracted the attention of 3 investors: Sungroup, IPPG and Sovico.

The Ho Na - Mui Doi resort complex project in Van Thanh and Van Tho communes of Van Ninh district also has 3 interested investors: Sun group, FPT and Sovico.

Sovico, Phat Dat, Sam Holding... are interested in the 550ha Northeast Ninh Hoa urban area project in Ninh Hai, Ninh Diem, Ninh Tho wards of Ninh Hoa town.

In addition, other enterprises such as Hoa Phat Group, Sumitomo Group, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, T&T Group, Eurowindow Investment JSC... are also interested in many other projects in the province.

A series of urban area projects of thousands of hectares in Hai Phong are calling for foreign investment . Among the 52 urban area projects in Hai Phong calling for foreign investment, there is a project with a scale of up to 2,000 hectares.
