At the PHE OSES (Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore Southeast Sumatra) rig, located in the Southeast Sumatra Sea, off the coast of Indonesia, the AI technology developed by FPT in collaboration with Pertamina Marine Engineering will analyze data collected from drones, detect abnormalities, leaks, and structural damage to ensure the integrity of the rig system. In addition, at PDSI (Pertamina Drilling Services Indonesia) drilling sites, the AI solution will monitor compliance with regulations on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), contributing to minimizing risks and ensuring a safe working environment.
"With our capacity, experience, infrastructure and advanced AI application ecosystem, we expect to promote comprehensive digital transformation for Pertamina in particular and make an important contribution to realizing the AI goals in Indonesia's National Strategy on Artificial Intelligence 2020-2045," said Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa.
