Inauguration ceremony and receiving certificate of ranking as historical relic of Phan Dinh Giot Memorial House

This morning, in Cam Quan commune, Cam Xuyen district, in coordination with Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union, the inauguration ceremony and receiving the certificate of ranking as a provincial historical-cultural relic of the Memorial House for Heroic Martyr Phan Dinh Giot were held. Attending were comrade Hoang Trung Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Communist magazine; comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly.

Heroic martyr Phan Dinh Giot was born in 1922, in Vinh Yen village (now Vinh Phu village), Cam Quan commune, Cam Xuyen district. Promoting the tradition of the revolutionary countryside, Phan Dinh Giot participated in many major campaigns such as: Trung Du, Hoa Binh, Tay Bac, especially the Dien Bien Phu Campaign.

After 1 year of construction, the Phan Dinh Giot Memorial House has been completed. This has become a place for people and young generations to visit, commemorate, express gratitude and pride in the son of Ha Tinh, thereby educating the tradition of patriotism and national pride for the young generation and people. At the ceremony, the organizing committee announced the decision and awarded the certificate of ranking as a provincial historical relic.

Core On this occasion, delegates offered incense to commemorate hero martyr Phan Dinh Giot at the Memorial House.
