Ha Tinh students win excellent awards from the International Organization for Migration

At the contest "Youth communication initiatives to promote safe migration and prevent human trafficking" jointly organized by the International Organization for Migration in Vietnam and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the initiative "Migration Ambassador" of a group of students from Mai Thuc Loan High School was honored to be one of the 8 best initiatives of the contest.

The competition “Youth Communication Initiative to Promote Safe Migration and Prevent Human Trafficking” takes place from September 2024 to February 2025.

The "Migration Ambassador" initiative was carried out by a group of students from Mai Thuc Loan High School, Thach Ha district, led by Phan Thi Phuong Tram, a student of class 12A6.

The project includes 4 contents, communication activities with the message: safe migration and prevention of human trafficking. To be selected as one of the 8 best initiatives of the contest, the group of students from Mai Thuc Loan High School went through 4 rounds, surpassing more than 600 contestants with hundreds of initiatives from students nationwide participating. This is also the only initiative of Ha Tinh students to win the contest.

The competition is funded by the UK Government and is held annually. It is aimed at young people aged 16-30, and aims to raise awareness of human trafficking and the latest issues related to migration, especially international migration.
