Since the beginning of the year, fishermen in coastal communes have continued to go offshore to catch aquatic products and expand aquaculture areas, contributing to a significant increase in total aquatic product output.

Fishermen are busy collecting seafood after a trip to sea, bringing a rich source of seafood to the locality.

According to the report of the Department of Fisheries, Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ha Tinh, the total output of exploitation and aquaculture from the beginning of 2025 to present is estimated at over 14,000 tons, an increase of 6% over the same period in 2024. Of which, the aquaculture output reached 3,400 tons, the exploitation output reached 10,600 tons.

Fresh batches of shrimp are caught by fishermen, contributing to increasing total seafood output in 2025.

In order to increase productivity and output of aquatic products in the coming months, local authorities are continuing to promote the application of science and technology to the new aquaculture season; going offshore, sticking to the sea, and fishing effectively and safely.
