Carefully prepare and be ready for the 13th People's Public Security Mass Art Performance

(LĐ online) - On the evening of March 22, the 13th People's Public Security Mass Art Festival 2025 - Region II will officially open at the Dalat Opera House. Up to this point, the host unit, Lam Dong Provincial Police, and units under the Ministry of Public Security are rushing to complete the final preparations with the hope that the Festival will be impressive and meaningful.

The 13th People's Public Security Mass Art Festival in 2025 is a special and key cultural and political event, opening a series of events to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Tradition Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025). With the theme: 80 years - Glory of the People's Public Security, the event is not only an artistic playground but also an opportunity to spread the heroic tradition, solidarity spirit and beautiful image of the police officer in the hearts of the people.

Lam Dong Provincial Police is honored to be chosen by the Ministry of Public Security as the host of Region II, where activities will take place from March 22 to 26, gathering 17 art troupes with more than 900 non-professional actors from units under the Ministry of Public Security, People's Public Security schools and 11 provinces and cities.

At present, the preparation atmosphere for the Festival is becoming more urgent than ever. From the Dalat Opera House at Lam Vien Square, the main venue for the performances, to the streets in the city center, many banners and slogans welcoming the Festival have been hung up, adding color to the city of thousands of flowers. Officers and soldiers of Lam Dong Police and the organizing unit are busy checking the sound system, lighting, stage and security plans, ready to welcome art troupes from all over.

Colonel Le Hong Phong - Deputy Director of Lam Dong Provincial Police, said: Being selected by the Ministry of Public Security to host the 13th People's Public Security Mass Art Festival, Lam Dong Provincial Police determined that this is both an honor and a key task in 2025. Therefore, right from receiving the plan, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors proactively reported to the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee to direct departments, branches and sectors to coordinate with functional units of the Ministry of Public Security to successfully organize the Festival. Hopefully, the mass art troupes coming to Lam Dong will have many memories and impressions of this Festival.

The preparation for the Festival is not only the effort of Lam Dong Provincial Police but also the harmonious coordination between units inside and outside the force. The Provincial Police Department directly directed and closely monitored each stage, from selecting actors, developing the script to logistics and security. Professional units were also mobilized to support and ensure all activities took place safely.

Ms. Hoang Phi Tuyet Quynh - Deputy Manager of Dalat Opera House said: The House has worked at full capacity to prepare and meet the requirements of the host unit, the Provincial Police, from sound system, lighting, stage to other necessary equipment and machinery.

The Festival's billboards were installed by the Organizing Committee to promote the event to all classes of people.

Along with the organization and preparation for the Festival, the rehearsals of the Provincial Public Security Mass Art Troupe are taking place with a spirit of urgency, enthusiasm and determination. As the host unit, Lam Dong Public Security not only takes on the role of organizer but also wants to present unique performances imbued with the cultural identity of the Central Highlands and the spirit of "forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people" of the People's Public Security force.

Under the close direction of the Provincial Police Department, and the dedicated guidance of experienced directors and choreographers, the non-professional actors, who are officers and soldiers familiar with the training ground and security work, are gradually transforming into real artists.

The singing and dancing performances are elaborately invested, from costumes, props to staging, choreography, the majestic melodies praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the homeland of Da Lat - Lam Dong and the dances imbued with the Central Highlands are being perfected every day. The performances are not only highly artistic but also convey a message about the love for the profession, the silent sacrifice of the police officers in the cause of protecting the security of the Fatherland.

Captain Tran Thi Nhai - Lam Dong Provincial Police, said: Up to now, the Lam Dong Provincial Police Mass Art Troupe has completed the contents set by the Provincial Police Board for this art program, as well as the ideas of the director and choreographer. The troupe is ready to explode for the opening night on March 22 at the Dalat Opera House.

Dalat Opera House is the main venue for the Festival's activities.

Currently, art troupes from provinces and cities have also begun their journey to Da Lat. Many troupes are ready with elaborate and spectacular performances. The participation of more than 900 non-professional actors promises to create colorful, humane and meaningful art programs.

As a citizen, I know that the Ministry of Public Security is taking the lead in streamlining the apparatus, but the officers and soldiers of the Public Security still love life, enthusiastically practicing to participate in cultural activities towards celebrating the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Tradition Day. We eagerly await the officers and soldiers of the People's Public Security from the units to return to Lam Dong to perform and shine.
