Signing a cooperation agreement to build an auto parts factory in Thai Binh province

On the morning of February 25, the Provincial People's Committee held a working session with Geleximco Group to report on the investment cooperation situation and signed a cooperation agreement to build an auto parts factory in Thai Binh province between Geleximco Group and Nguyen Tin Industrial Investment Co., Ltd., Liuzhou, Guangxi (China). Attending the meeting were comrades: Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee and representatives of a number of relevant departments and branches.

Provincial leaders and delegates witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement to build an auto parts factory in Thai Binh province between Geleximco Group and Nguyen Tin Industrial Investment Co., Ltd., Liuzhou, Guangxi (China) .

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Van Tien, Chairman of Geleximco Group, wished to work with the province to build Thai Binh province into the largest automobile manufacturing area in the Northern region. Therefore, the Group has actively sought partners to bring automobile manufacturing and assembly projects to Thai Binh province. After research, the Group selected Nguyen Tin Industrial Investment Company Limited and Bach Tan Technology Company Limited as the investment cooperation enterprises and signed a cooperation agreement to build an auto parts factory in Thai Binh province.

Guangxi Liuzhou Yuanxin Industrial Investment Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of GoldenSun Group, a wholly state-owned enterprise directly under the Liunan District Government, Liaozhou City, Guangxi Province, China. The company is currently cooperating with major national enterprises such as SAIC-GM-Wuling, LiuGong Group, China Railway Construction Corporation and many others in projects involving urban infrastructure, real estate development, industrial park construction, automobiles, construction machinery, artificial intelligence, and many other fields. In 2024, the company supplied parts for 2.4 million automobiles manufactured in Liuzhou.

Guangxi Baijin Technology Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the trade of industrial products, including the production, processing and fabrication of aluminum products. The company has developed a large network of partners and is one of the suppliers of high-quality industrial products in the region. The project's goal is to establish a joint venture company to supply spare parts for automobile factories in Vietnam. According to the plan, the project requires a land area of ​​more than 200 hectares, is expected to be built in 2026 and put into production in October 2027. The total investment capital is expected to be about 400 million USD. The estimated number of direct employees is from 2,000 to 3,000 people.

Previously, Geleximco Group officially entered the automobile manufacturing industry by establishing a joint venture with Chery Group (China) to produce and distribute two car lines Omoda & Jaecoo in Vietnam. The factory is located in Hung Phu Industrial Park, Thai Binh province. When put into operation in 2026, the first phase of the factory is expected to reach a capacity of 50,000 cars/year.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Nguyen Manh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee informed about the socio-economic development situation and investment attraction results in the province. He emphasized: Thai Binh province has made efforts to focus on site clearance, concentrating resources to speed up the construction of important transport infrastructure, especially connecting traffic routes; focusing on solving difficulties for businesses, preparing all conditions, creating the most favorable and attractive environment for investors.

The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the goodwill and effectiveness of the negotiation and investment promotion process, and highly appreciated the prestige, investment capacity and production technology of all three corporations. He hoped that Geleximco Group and its partners would cooperate in trade, strictly comply with the provisions of Vietnamese law and soon implement the project effectively and substantially, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality. At the same time, he requested departments, branches and sectors to support the three corporations in carrying out investment procedures in the most convenient and fastest way. The province will always accompany and support investors to implement the project quickly and conveniently, and soon put it into effective production and business operations.

At the meeting, provincial leaders and leaders of departments and branches witnessed the signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between Geleximco Group and Nguyen Tin Industrial Investment Company Limited of Golden Sun Lieu Chau Group and Bach Tan Technology Company.
