(LĐ online) - On the afternoon of March 19, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee held a meeting with representatives of all classes of people in ethnic minorities in Lam Dong province.

The conference was chaired by Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong Province Pham Trieu, Vice Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, including Comrade Bon Yo Soan and Comrade Do Thi Que Phuong. Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, departments, branches, units and localities in the province.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, listening to the thoughts and aspirations of the people in the ethnic minority areas, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province Pham Trieu emphasized: With the task of gathering, building, promoting the strength of the great national unity bloc; implementing democracy, strengthening social consensus; representing, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people, in recent years, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province has focused on directing and guiding the Fatherland Front at all levels to pay attention to organizing activities to meet and work with representatives of the people of all ethnic groups and religions. This is a regular and periodic activity of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels from the provincial to the grassroots level and has become one of the "bridges" of trust between the Party's will and the people's hearts in the province through listening to the thoughts and aspirations and promptly synthesizing reports and recommendations to the Party Committees and authorities of relevant units to respond and resolve the legitimate and justifiable thoughts and aspirations of the people.

Continuing to inherit and promote the achieved results, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province organized a meeting with delegates representing all classes of people in ethnic minorities in Lam Dong province in 2025 to inform the results of resolving the delegates' recommendations at the 2024 meeting and listen to the sudden and arising aspirations of delegates representing all classes of people in ethnic minorities in the province.
Therefore, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee hopes to hear many opinions, in a frank and constructive spirit, especially recommendations, reflecting the thoughts and aspirations of the majority of people in the place where they live.

At the meeting, delegates listened to Comrade Bon Yo Soan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee briefly report on the socio-economic situation, results of the province's Fatherland Front work in 2024, key tasks in 2025 and results of resolving recommendations at the 2024 Meeting with delegates representing people of ethnic minority areas held on March 29, 2024.
After the Conference, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front promptly synthesized and reported to the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee to consider and direct agencies and units to resolve the recommendations of delegates related to the following contents: Paying attention to supporting production land for ethnic minorities with difficulties and lack of production land; needing measures to prevent and handle illegal mineral exploitation; resolving existing issues related to the high-tech agricultural production area in Lat hamlet, Da Sar commune, Lac Duong district. In addition, there are a number of other opinions related to the field of natural resources and environment...
Basically, the opinions and recommendations of the delegates representing the ethnic minority people have been promptly received, urged, and directed by the provincial leaders to be resolved, meeting the legitimate needs and aspirations of the people.

At the meeting, representatives of all walks of life in communes, villages and hamlets of ethnic minorities in the province expressed their agreement with the Party and State on new policies and guidelines, especially in the process of streamlining and reorganizing the apparatus of the political system in the current period.
People hope that the Party and State will continue to pay attention to the restructuring and streamlining to truly promote efficiency, develop the economy and society, and improve people's lives.

Many opinions and recommendations were raised at the Conference, such as: The State should pay attention to non-professional cadres, most of whom have difficult lives, so they will suffer a lot if there is no support policy when arranging and streamlining the apparatus; authorities at all levels should pay attention to solving the problem of lack of water for production and lack of water for daily life, should pay attention to investing in infrastructure, loans for production development, and creating jobs for people's children after graduating from college and university.
