More than 160 athletes participate in the Cross Country Race of the 10th Tu Son City Sports Festival

This morning, the Center for Culture, Sports and Communications of Tu Son city organized the Cross-country race of the 10th National Sports Festival in 2025.

The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags to participating units at the opening ceremony.

The 10th Tu Son City Sports Festival Cross Country Race in 2025 has the participation of 163 athletes from 12 wards in the city, competing in 02 events: Men running 5 km, women running 3 km. According to the Organizing Committee, this year's Cross Country Race has more athletes participating in all events. The athletes compete with a noble sportsmanship spirit, dedicating themselves to the tournament to achieve the highest results.

Cross-country is the first competition in the 10th City Sports Festival in 2025. This is a useful playground, an opportunity for athletes and cross-country enthusiasts in the city to meet, exchange, learn and improve their competition skills. The event is organized to promote the response to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" in the period of 2021 - 2030.

At the same time, this is also to test, evaluate and select the best athletes for the Tu Son City Cross-Country team to compete in the 10th Bac Ninh Provincial Sports Festival Cross-Country Tournament in 2025, held on March 16.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 04 First prizes, 04 Second prizes, 08 Third prizes and 12 Encouragement prizes to the excellent athletes participating in the competition. In which, the First prize for the Men's team belonged to Chau Khe ward; the First prize for the Women's team was awarded to Dong Ngan ward.
