On the evening of March 14, speaking with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Tong Quang Thanh, Chairman of Van An Ward People's Committee, Bac Ninh City, Bac Ninh Province said that at around 2:30 p.m. the same day, a house collapsed completely into Cau River. There were no casualties.
"After the incident, the locality coordinated with the People's Committee of Bac Ninh City and functional forces to the scene to support people in overcoming the consequences and moving assets in areas at risk of landslides to a safe place. We have evacuated 7 households along the Cau River dike through Van Phuc area, Van An ward," said Mr. Thanh.
