Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TPBank) has just officially announced the TPBank transaction interruption incident on December 12.
Since last night, many TPBank account holders have expressed their frustration when TPBank's online money transfer application reported errors and interrupted transactions.
As of this morning, the incident is still ongoing, with many people continuing to share their complaints on social media.
This incident caused significant damage to TPBank customers, especially shopping enthusiasts who were unable to make payments on the December 12 “sale day” of e-commerce platforms.
Many customers said they also encountered awkward situations when they could not make payment, while the delivery staff (shipper) had arrived to deliver the goods in the morning.
In a recent announcement, TPBank said it had “isolated the problem” and was making every effort to fix it and bring transaction channels back to normal as soon as possible. The bank apologized to customers for any inconvenience caused during this time.
Troubleshooting and transaction recovery information will be continuously updated by TPBank.
In a previous announcement, TPBank said the system recorded transaction interruptions on channels due to "system upgrades and updates in the early morning of December 12".
Due to the interruption of the electronic banking system, TPBank customers have been unable to make online money transfers since last night. As of 10am this morning, the problem has not been resolved.
