On the evening of September 5, Jack posted on his personal page after the controversy related to putting the image of soccer player Lionel Messi in his music video.

The singer said: "False information keeps spreading, so I have to share this information."

In it, Jack emphasized that he had to spend a "large amount of money" to pursue the intention of meeting Messi and affirmed that there was absolutely no "hijacking" as some netizens speculated.

Regarding the use of the image of meeting Messi in the MV From Where I Was Born , Jack said he had the consent from the football superstar.

"I would not have made this video without the initial permission. During the trip to meet Messi, I discussed and asked for permission to use the image. Messi's side agreed on the condition that I would not use Messi's image for commercial, political or national purposes," Jack said.

Regarding the rumor of "spending 60 billion VND to invite Messi to act in the MV", some netizens believe that Jack's team spread it to create a trick and attract attention. In response to this opinion, Jack declared that this is false information and affirmed that his team has nothing to do with the above statement.

The singer of Bac Phan was sad because the original good goals of the trip were distorted "dangerously". However, Jack also said that the upcoming activities will be the most satisfactory and convincing answer for the audience to better understand the message he wanted to convey after meeting Lionel Messi.

"Sorry for bothering everyone these past few days. I hope the audience, family, relatives, friends, and brothers will choose accurate information to avoid negative impacts on the incident," Jack concluded.

Also on the evening of September 5, Dan Tri reporter contacted businessman Pham Ngoc Quoc Cuong - the person who connected Jack to Messi. Mr. Cuong's media representative "asked for permission not to comment" after the latest shares from Jack.

"Mr. Cuong and Jack are arranging a meeting in Hanoi for both sides to resolve any misunderstandings. We will make an official announcement after the meeting," said Mr. Cuong's representative.

"Both sides have agreed on the views, so we will respect singer Jack's side until the two sides meet in person," the businessman's media representative added.

On August 31, Jack released the MV " From Where I Was Born", featuring famous football player Lionel Messi. After the release of this music product, social media was flooded with information claiming that Jack spent 60 billion VND on a trip to meet Messi.

On the morning of September 3, singer Jack's legal representative issued a statement denying rumors related to the figure of 60 billion VND.

Along with the announcement, singer Jack also apologized to individuals (including businessman Pham Ngoc Quoc Cuong), associates, and partners who were indirectly affected by the unverified information circulating on social networks.

Meanwhile, businessman Pham Ngoc Quoc Cuong had strong reactions.

Mr. Cuong said that the two sides had previously agreed that the images of the meeting with Messi would only be kept as souvenirs, or included in a documentary. However, Jack went against the original commitment by arbitrarily exploiting Messi's image in a music video.
