(Dan Tri) - Female PhD, architect Nguyen Thai Huyen of Hanoi University of Architecture received the Academic Palm Medal for her great contributions in the field of education.
The information was announced by Hanoi University of Architecture. Accordingly, the French Embassy in Hanoi awarded the Academic Palm Medal to Dr. Architect Nguyen Thai Huyen under the decree of the French Prime Minister.
Dr. Architect Nguyen Thai Huyen was honored for her decisive role in strengthening higher education cooperation between the two countries, especially the strong development of the French-language training program on architecture, landscape and urbanism at the Hanoi University of Architecture over the past 20 years.

In his speech, Architect Nguyen Thai Huyen shared the idea of the Living Lab model (a laboratory integrating research, education and innovation to solve real-life problems).
Ms. Huyen also hopes that activities and cooperation programs in training, scientific research and practice of architecture, planning and landscape will continue to receive support and cooperation from the French government and the Francophone community.
The French Bachelor of Architecture (DEEA) program belongs to the 3-level training system of bachelor - master - doctorate (LMD) in Architecture, recognized and awarded a bachelor's degree in Architecture by the National University of Architecture of Normandie, Republic of France.
The LMD program system is established and approved by the French Ministry of Culture and the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training.
This program enrolls approximately 50 students annually for both Vietnamese and international students with a 4-year training period, and the language of instruction is French. Candidates applying to the program do not need to take an art exam, only their application is reviewed and interviewed directly.
The title of Knight of the Order of Academic Palms is one of the noble awards of the French Government established in the early 19th century, under Napoleon I, to honor individuals with great contributions in the fields of education, science, culture and arts.
