Completed 7 tasks to operate Nhon railway section

The elevated section from station S1 - S8 of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway project is in the final stage before being handed over to Hanoi Railway One Member Co., Ltd. to put into operation, serving people's travel.

To best prepare for the Nhon - Cau Giay urban railway section, Hanoi Railway One Member Co., Ltd. has completed 7 main groups of work. The first is to organize the operating personnel.

Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of Hanoi Railway Company Limited Vu Hong Truong said that through the practical operation of the Cat Linh - Ha Dong Urban Railway Line No. 2A for more than two years, the unit has gained experience and organized the best staff for the Urban Railway Line No. 3.

Specifically, the Company is about to announce the establishment of two affiliated enterprises. The first enterprise with 800 employees will be in charge of operating urban railway line 2A. The second enterprise with 524 employees will be in charge of line 3.

In particular, the best and most experienced personnel will be sent to become the core of the second factory.

“We are committed that transferring people to the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station line will not affect the operation of Cat Linh - Ha Dong. We currently have enough capacity to train human resources for urban railways ourselves,” said Mr. Vu Hong Truong.

Second, the company is working with consultants and investors to develop maintenance, repair and system operation procedures. For the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station Urban Railway Line, there will be about 20 maintenance and repair procedures; 157 system operation procedures.

Third, the company temporarily applies the ordering and financial plan of urban railway line 2A to line 3. With experience from line 2, many problems in the city's financial provision will be resolved more quickly and thoroughly.

Fourth is the trial operation process to evaluate and approve the safety of the system currently applied according to the system proposed by the Hanoi Urban Railway Management Board.

“The first trial operation will follow the consultant's plan, we will provide personnel to assemble and operate for the consultant to evaluate. After that, we will proactively move to the mastery phase, the consultant will only observe and support to evaluate the safety of the system” - said the leader of Hanoi Railway One Member Co., Ltd.

This person also said that the safety assessment of the metro line No. 3 system will be faster due to the application of European standards and European technology.

Fifth is to develop a fare policy for the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station route. To make it faster and more convenient, the company has proposed applying the same fare as the Cat Linh - Ha Dong route, especially the tax-free and free policies for customers.

The sixth is to develop an operational plan. It is expected that the Nhon - Cau Giay urban railway section will be implemented similarly to urban railway route No. 2A, opening at 5:30 a.m. and closing at 10 p.m. to match the bus schedule.

In fact, the Cat Linh - Ha Dong urban railway line, in the first phase of free transport, trains run every 15 minutes, causing passengers to queue in large numbers. Therefore, for the above section of route 3, a schedule of 10 minutes/trip will be applied in the first phase to avoid congestion at the stations.

Mr. Vu Hong Truong shared: "It is expected that the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station route will have more people traveling than the Cat Linh - Ha Dong route, so the initial free trial period is proposed to be reduced from 9 months to 3 - 6 months."

Seventh, the Nhon - Cau Giay elevated section currently has difficulties in completion documents, and has not been able to separate the specific volume because the entire route also includes the underground section under construction.

Hanoi Railway One Member Co., Ltd. has proposed to Hanoi City and relevant ministries and branches to temporarily apply the standard unit price as the Cat Linh - Ha Dong route. "In the spirit of solving difficulties as they arise, accepting work as it is done, we have prepared to complete the main work groups, ensuring that as soon as we receive the handover, we will put the Nhon - Cau Giay urban railway section into operation to serve the people" - Mr. Vu Hong Truong said.
