DNVN - During the Digital Transformation and Innovative Startup Week - Mekong Delta - Hau Giang 2024, there will be a series of activities and seminars on digital government, digital economy, digital transformation (DT) in the fields of agriculture, environmental resources; innovative startups (DT), green and sustainable economic development.
On May 23, Hau Giang People's Committee coordinated with Ho Chi Minh City Information Technology Association to organize the opening ceremony of the "Digital Transformation and Innovative Startup Week" with the participation of 20 provinces/cities and hundreds of enterprises, associations and unions from provinces and cities.
The week is organized to raise awareness, create opportunities for exchange and cooperation between state agencies and enterprises providing products and solutions for digital transformation, startups, and innovation (DI), contributing to improving the effectiveness of digital transformation, DT startups, and promoting economic development in the Mekong Delta region.
In addition, the week also aims to support the promotion, promotion and investment attraction from enterprises in Hau Giang Province's Digital Technology Park; promote the connection of the innovative startup ecosystem, connecting the province's ecosystem with the regional and national ecosystems.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Dong Van Thanh - Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee said that on June 3, 2020, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 749/QD-TTg approving the national digital transformation program to 2025, with a vision to 2030. After more than 4 years of synchronous, urgent and drastic implementation nationwide. Up to now, digital transformation has had extremely important initial results, with positive significance, which are the basis for promising breakthrough results in the coming time.
The Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee informed that, up to now, the province has completed and effectively put into operation essential shared platforms and the Smart Urban Monitoring and Operation Center. Since then, many positive changes have been made in the management and operation of the three levels of government; creating a scientific and effective communication environment between state agencies, as well as between people and businesses with the government; contributing to improving publicity, transparency and increasing the level of people's satisfaction with the government. At the same time, significantly increasing the indicators of administrative reform, competitiveness and digital transformation of the province.
The Digital Transformation and Innovation Week in Hau Giang will take place from May 23-24 with many rich and practical activities and seminars, focusing on key areas such as: digital government, digital economy, digital transformation in agriculture, environmental resources; innovative startups, green and sustainable economic development.
In particular, on this occasion, the Organizing Committee also displayed 60 booths at the experience area displaying models and solutions of innovative startups of typical organizations and enterprises.
