On March 2, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union coordinated with accompanying units to organize the March Border Month Program with the theme "My Homeland's Border" at Thong Thu Border Post, Thong Thu Commune, Que Phong District, Nghe An Province. Attending the program were Ms. Pham Thi Thu Thuy - Deputy Director of the Department of Monitoring the Work of Preventing Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of the Central Internal Affairs Committee; Ms. Truong Thi Hong Ha - Deputy Director of the Department of Research and Synthesis of the Central Internal Affairs Committee; Mr. Nguyen Ky Minh - Deputy Chief of Office of the Central Strategic Policy Committee. On the Nghe An side, there were Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Youth Union of the province; Mr. Truong Lam Toi - Deputy Head of the Political Department of the Provincial Border Guard Command; Mr. Pham Ngoc Nghia - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Phong district along with many cadres, soldiers, grassroots youth unions and local people. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee presented 40 gifts worth 40 million VND to disadvantaged students, presented gifts worth 30 million VND and a map of Vietnam to Thong Thu Border Post, presented 5 guitars to officers and soldiers of the Post; organized a campfire exchange program to promote military-civilian relations, and a flag-raising ceremony "I love my country" at Thong Thu Border Post. Especially, the model of "Livelihood tree garden" was built for 3 households in Thong Thu commune. |

On this occasion, the Nghe An Province Youth Development Support Center also organized a “Career Counseling, Recruitment and Job Introduction Day” for more than 2,000 young people who are demobilized soldiers returning to their hometowns, unemployed students and pupils in Que Phong district. 20 gifts were also presented to students in difficult circumstances and children of officers and soldiers on duty at the border and islands. |
Responding to the launching ceremony of Youth Month 2025 at the provincial level, 100% of Youth Union chapters at all levels in Nghe An province simultaneously launched many meaningful activities, attracting the participation of more than 9,000 young union members, with a total resource value of more than 2 billion VND. |
