Party members of Kim Son village, Ha Dong commune propagate and mobilize people to actively participate in building a cultural residential area.
Kim Son village, Ha Dong commune currently has 311 households with 1,090 people. Over the past time, the appearance of this countryside has changed a lot. Village roads and alleys are spacious and airy; along both sides of the road are many newly built houses, along with many roads planted with flowers and trees. Kim Son village head Pham Van Binh shared: To create a new look for the homeland, one of the important solutions that the village has implemented well is to build a cultural residential area associated with the New Rural Construction movement by implementing well the campaigns and emulation movements in the locality, especially building a "bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe" residential area.
During the implementation process, thanks to promoting the pioneering and exemplary role of each cadre and party member, it has created a widespread influence among the people. Notably, in recent times, the village has stepped up propaganda and mobilized people to maintain environmental hygiene, village roads and alleys; built 1km of flower and ornamental tree roads, 5.5km of lighting, and a drainage system with concrete covers. At the same time, from socialized sources, investments have been made to build a stadium, sports field, and spacious village cultural facilities, attracting villagers to meetings as well as participating in cultural and sports movements. Thereby, further strengthening solidarity and neighborhood ties in the community, building a model village in 2023.
Ha Dong commune currently has 225 party members, operating in 11 party cells. Determining the core content of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" is to build a cultural family, a cultural residential area, the Party Committee of the commune issued a thematic resolution to focus on implementation, in which specific tasks are assigned to each cadre, party member, union member, and association member, and this is one of the important criteria for annual emulation and reward evaluation. Since then, many models have been deployed, bringing practical results, such as the clean house model, model garden implemented by the women's union; the farmers' association with environmental protection work; the self-managed camera model in villages; the cultural and sports movement; implementing a civilized lifestyle in weddings and funerals... Up to now, 4/4 villages of the commune have achieved the title of culture, the annual rate of cultural families in the commune has reached 82.3%.
Ha Binh commune has also changed positively after many years of effectively implementing this content. Up to now, 7/7 villages have been recognized as cultural villages, of which 2 villages, Xuan Son and Ngoc Son, have been recognized as cultural villages for 5 consecutive years; 86.8% of families have achieved the title of cultural family, 60% of families have achieved the title of sports. From the good implementation of building cultural residential areas, we have mobilized contributions of money, labor, and land from the community, contributing to changing the appearance of the villages, improving the lives of the people, gradually forming a new cultural life, a civilized lifestyle in the community in the commune.
To effectively implement, right from the beginning of the year, the Steering Committee of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" of the district has developed a plan for implementation. Based on the assigned functions, tasks and work plans, the members of the steering committee have closely followed the grassroots, promptly grasped difficulties and problems to propose and discuss solutions to focus on directing and guiding the implementation of the movement, especially in building cultural titles, building new rural areas, and civilized urban areas.
Up to now, 95% of residential areas in the district have been recognized as cultural residential areas, 87% have achieved the title of cultural families; the system of grassroots institutions has received investment attention, and cultural houses in villages and neighborhoods have been basically invested in and built spaciously. The mass cultural - artistic, physical education and sports movement has been increasingly going into depth with 366 models of cultural - artistic, physical education and sports clubs in residential areas, typically the folk dance club model and the volleyball club model operating regularly. The implementation of civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals and festivals has had many positive changes, and bad customs have been gradually eliminated from life.
The construction of cultural residential areas has helped to form a new cultural lifestyle among the people, contributing to building Ha Trung homeland to become increasingly rich, beautiful and civilized.
